Dancessense Studios had very little digital support since its inception. At the beginning, Kameleon inherited a website that had the look and feel of a world-class dance academy, but that was not being indexed by search engines. In fact, in order for Kameleon to get going, we needed to first audit the website, in order to ensure it was able to be recognized as active, before implementing search engine tactics.
So, with a beautiful website, a huge collection of emails, and a desire to not only reach new audiences, but keep in touch with existing fans, Kameleon drafted a campaign that would revamp the existing website with an SEO and Content strategy. and combine that with an ongoing newsletter campaign that would support the blogging efforts.
It became quickly apparent, that a geo-targeted approach had to be implemented. With only the sole location for Dancessense we weren’t just looking for increased traffic, we were looking for an increase of quality (aka, local) traffic.
Once the audit was complete, our SEO strategy kicked off, and the content started rolling…and the results followed shortly thereafter. In just three months we were able to not only bring many new visitors to the site, but local visitors relevant to Dancessense.
